George House Trust is one of Manchester’s most vital LGBTQ+ support spaces — a welcoming, empowering organisation for people living with HIV. From one-on-one support and peer-led sessions to workshops, social events, and advocacy, it’s more than a charity — it’s a community. Whether you’re newly diagnosed or looking to connect with others, George House Trust is here to support, uplift, and stand with you every step of the way.
Social Refuge is Manchester's ultimate LGBTQ+ hangout spot. It’s a coffee shop, bar, bookshop, and event space all rolled into one. Whether it’s quiz nights, book launches, open mics, or just a laid-back catch-up, there’s always something going on. Whether it’s time to party, dive into a good book, or simply relax and feel at home, Social Refuge is the space to be yourself.
Queer Lit is Manchester’s award-winning LGBTQ+ bookshop and pride store, founded to provide literature that reflects diverse queer experiences. With over 4,500 titles and a wide range of pride accessories, it’s a hub for LGBTQ+ stories. The shop also donates hundreds of LGBTQ+ books to schools each month and advocates for trans rights. Queer Lit is a space for everyone to connect, learn, and celebrate queer culture.
